Fishing is the largest participative activity in the country; why not find out what you have been missing? Perhaps you’ve dabbled before and would like to get back into it?

The Quarry House Angling Club has arranged an open day at Sunrise Lakes near Harrogate for you to do just that. You, your partner or any member of your family are cordially invited to join club members and try your hand at the art of course fishing on Saturday 26th July 2008 – accompanied children are especially welcome.

Members of the club will be in attendance between 10am to 3.00pm to advise you just come down and spend as long as you like. All licences, tackle and bait will be supplied – please wear suitable clothing and footwear!

Sunrise Lakes is situated a mile or so off Haggs Road between Spofforth and Harrogate, it is in a beautiful setting frequented by Red Kites and has a large head of course fish including carp, tench and roach.
