DO YOU KNOW A MAN …?

The Leodis Gazette is a useful hunting ground whenever we need something. Although our present editor had a really good spring clean of old ads on taking over the reins, there are still have some useful contacts and I, for one, usually look there first if I need a tradesman.

It’s good to have feedback, though. The requirements are quite modest – if someone is prepared to offer HASSRA Leeds members a bit of discount, they can advertise free of charge. Seems fair to me and if any of you know someone who wants to take advantage then I’m sure our editor would like to know.

We recently needed the assistance of a joiner to do some work in our kitchen, which Mr M was unable to tackle. Out came the latest edition of the Gazette to find a joiner/handyman, who agreed to come out to our house and sort our problem. We were both amazed at how reasonable his charge was, and how speedy his response. I can therefore, hand on heart, thoroughly recommend Douglas Joinery.
